Beautiful lakeside shanty and oasis! I can’t really think of many places in middle Tennessee that are quite so lovely and offer refreshment. Superb hotdogs and draft beer. It’s a wonderful spot to relax and take in all the beauty! Be mindful the flies can be a major nuisance in the summertime. Hopefully there is a breeze! Also there is an ice cream shop across the street.

I went to rent a paddle boat, and had a great time paddling around the lake with my wife and son. The equipment was well kept, and the employees were attentive and professional.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Renting a kayak was easy and my dogs loved being able to hang out on the water.

Had so much fun with my dog kayaking and taking him for a swim! Can’t wait to come back. The Chicago dog (as a former Chicagoan) was awesome and they had a good beer selection as well.

Incredible fun experience for the entire family. The boat crew set up all the boats and gave our kiddos (and lots of their friends) tips to feel safe and instructions on how to use the paddles. When one of the boats got stuck (user error) the boat crew came immediately to their rescue. We ended the ride with fresh grilled cheese and hot dogs. Thank you!
